- ASIC and other public databases
- Third-party service providers
- Financial institutions, accountants, or referees you nominate
- Our business partners and affiliated entities

- Assess your business's application for commercial finance
- Verify your business's identity and structure
- Assess the suitability of any guarantors
- Source and apply for finance or insurance on your business's behalf
- Manage and process your business loan or finance agreements

When acting on your business's behalf or as an agent for a credit provider, we may request credit reports or disclose information to a Commercial Credit Reporting Service.
Your business and its directors have rights to:
- Access and correct the information we or a CRB hold
- Request that a CRB not use information for pre-screening direct marketing
- Request a CRB not to disclose information if there is suspected fraud

7. Consent and Authorisation
By engaging with Kapio and providing your business information, you expressly:
- Authorise us to collect, use and disclose business-related information as outlined above
- Consent to receive documents and communications electronically
- Acknowledge your consent remains valid for up to 12 months for ongoing commercial credit applications unless withdrawn earlier
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer.
8. Storage and Security of Your Information
We store business information in physical and digital formats. We implement industry-standard measures to secure your data, including:
- Secure storage systems and restricted access protocols
- Encryption, firewall, and cybersecurity monitoring
- Staff training and confidentiality agreements
We retain your business information only as long as legally necessary or until no longer required for its intended purpose.

Your authorised representatives may:
- Request access to the business information we hold
- Ask us to correct any errors or outdated information
- Lodge a complaint if there is a concern about how we handle your business's information
